Notice of No-Confidence Motion

不信任動議公告

In the Twentieth Annual General Meeting, the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Colin TSANG (BICH 2^nd Year), of the Executive Committee of the Nineteenth Session was removed from office by the Motion of No Confidence, which was carried according to the provision of Article 7.9 of the Constitution of the Union with a voting of 81 votes for, 0 against and 21 abstain.

       Mr. Colin TSANG’s level of commitment to his duty as the Public Relations Officer was minimal at best and his contribution to the Union was extremely limited. Furthermore, he went on two International Exchange Programs during his term of office even without the prior consent of the Executive Committee. His serving of office is absolutely irresponsible and unacceptable, and thus the Members of Union express no confidence in his contribution to this Session.

學生會在第二十次週年全民大會上，以81票讚成，0票反對，21票棄權，在符合本會憲章第7.9條之要求下通過對第十九屆幹事會公共關係主任曾國贇先生（生物化學系二年級）之不信任動議議案，曾國贇先生於本會之職務亦已被即時解除。

曾國贇先生在任本會幹事會公共關係主任時，在未有得到其他幹事會成員的同意下擅離職守，先後兩次離開香港，到海外參與交換生計劃。本會認為其身為學生會幹事會之幹事，但對學生會的貢獻嚴重不足，而且本會認為其擅離職守之行為不負責任和不能接受，故此在週年全民大會上提出及通過向曾國贇先生之不信任動議議案。
